We recognise that our people and the environment in which we live and work are among our greatest assets. Accordingly, Health, Safety and Environmental issues are addressed pro-actively as core values of our business activities. To achieve these results we employ systems based on Australian Standard AS/NZS 4801:2001 for Workplace Safety, and International Standard AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management.

The two systems are closely linked and are integrated as a total Health, Safety and Environment Management System. Structured programs, including comprehensive inductions and task specific training ensure that all staff and contractors have full awareness and understanding of their safety, environmental and social workplace obligations. A major element of this integrated management process is to regularly review and continually improve systems and products, thereby striving for best practice in all areas of our operations. Our design process goes beyond manufacturing to provide durable and functional products that contribute to safe and healthy environments during their useful life, and the suitability and ease of recycling at the end of their life cycle.

AMS Group is covered by Public Liability Insurance to a value of $20m, and fully covered under the Workers Compensation Act 1987. Certificates of Currency are available for inspection if required.
